Renee started her career in make up artistry at the age of 20 when living in London. Her first job was at MAC cosmetics on the famous Kings road in Chelsea. After working there for 6 months, she started doing photographic tests to build her portfolio. Soon she found a make up agency to represent her and started working almost immediately.
One of her first shoots was in Mallorca, Spain for the British based client Freeman’s. It was the start of many more shoots across the globe including photo shoots in Italy, Greece, Paris, New York, Canada, Malaysia, Bali, Seychelles, Mauritius, Kenya, Ghana, Zanzibar and Mozambique.
During her 18 years as a make up artist in the fashion industry she has worked on various international advertising campaigns and many glossy publications such as Vanity Fair (US), Vogue (UK), British and South African Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire and the prestigious SA Sports Illustrated swimwear edition 5 years running.
Woolworths has approached her recently to hoast and produce their online make up tutorials and she has featured in various television appearances including Top Billing, Expresso show and Afternoon Express.
For the past five years she has focused her energy on empowering woman through the art of make up. In collaboration with Gorgeous2go, Sensai, Chanel, La Mer and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics South Africa, she has presented various make up workshops and Masterclasses.
